Refund policy

At Egg Back Home, each piece is handmade with care and individuality. We hope your order brings joy and beauty into your daily life. Still, we understand that sometimes things don’t go as planned. This policy explains how we handle returns and refunds for orders shipped within the United States.


Returns – Changed your mind?

If you placed an order through our U.S. online shop and wish to return one or more items, you have 30 days from the date of delivery to inform us.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused and in perfect condition.

  • It must be returned in its original packaging or an equally protective one.

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is defective or incorrect.

Because we work with delicate ceramics, we kindly ask you to ensure that all items are packed securely. If returned items arrive broken due to insufficient packaging, we won’t be able to offer a refund.

Refunds will be processed after the items are received and inspected by our team. Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your original payment method.


How to start a return

To initiate a return, please email us at info@eggbackhomeusa.com and include:

  • Your order number

  • Clear photos of the item(s)

  • Reason for the return

Our team will guide you through the next steps.


Damaged or incorrect items

If you receive a damaged product or the wrong item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

We ask you to send:

  • Clear photos of the item(s), the shipping box, and all internal packaging

  • A brief description of the issue

Once verified, we’ll arrange a replacement at no cost or issue a refund/store credit.


Items not eligible for return

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Custom or personalized items

  • Discounted or final sale items

  • Gift cards

Unless they arrive damaged, in which case we’ll resolve the issue promptly.


Parcels returned to us

If a parcel is returned due to an incomplete or incorrect address, refusal of delivery, or failure to collect it from a pick-up point, we will gladly resend it. In these cases, new shipping costs will apply.

If a refund is requested instead, the original shipping cost will be deducted from the refund amount.
